My Favorite BNI StoryIn July 2014, I attended BNI Bootcamp, Dawn Lyons was the presenter, with my good friend and co-owner of Referral Institute SF Bay, Leslie Salazar. At the end of the presentation, Dawn mentioned a 3-day intensive Certified Networker class that was going to happen at the end of November and Leslie said, "you have to do it but be prepared: it will change your life." I took the class and, true to Leslie's word, it changed my life. I learned my true why I do what I do and how I can add value to so many lives by giving referrals. I went back to my BNI chapter with a changed mindset of how to give to my fellow members and how I can help their lives.
